About Gary

 

Gary Lee is the Bay Area’s most charismatic and inspirational personal trainer, group fitness instructor and children’s soccer coach.  His exciting, energetic fitness style led him to start his own business in spring 2006. Gary created two different fitness ventures, G-GYM & G-TAC.  G-GYM or Gary’s Gym is a personal training business based out of his private studio in San Francisco. G-TAC or Gary’s Total Athletic Conditioning is an enlivening outdoor group workout.  He takes his G-TAC enthusiasts everywhere from Baker Beach to the Marina Green and Kezar Stadium.  His outdoor workouts are fun, challenging, and never boring.

 

He has a magnetic personality and a creative passion that has helped change a wide range of people's lives for the better. His genuine care and compassion for his clients always shine through. By guiding his clients through enjoyable challenges to reach their fitness goals, he inspires them to become more confident, healthy, positive and passionate in all aspects of their life.

 

Over the past 12 years, he has worked in many gyms throughout the Bay Area including 24-Hour Fitness, Pinnacle, Bally’s, Club One, Gold’s, Gorilla, Club Sport, Crunch and the San Francisco Bay Club.  Gary has also been recognized for his enthusiastic approach to exercise.  He was a presenter at the 2005 IDEA Health and Fitness convention for Kunomi Sports, and San Francisco Magazine voted his class the BEST WAY TO GET FIT FAST in 2006.  He was also featured on KRON TV news in the spring of 2007 for his G-TAC outdoor workout.

 

Another one of Gary's true loves is soccer. He played 4 years of collegiate soccer at Humboldt State University while working towards a degree in Exercise Science and also played 1 year on a semi-professional team.  He has worked as a referee and helped run many summer soccer camps.  Since 2008, Gary has coached many girls and boys soccer teams and plans to coach 3 teams in Fall 2012.

His love for the game led him to become a personal trainer and fitness instructor.  He realized as much as he wanted to pursue a career in professional soccer, he attained more purpose in his life from helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.  His athletic skills and supportive energy made personal training the right path for him to follow and has helped many people achieve peace and wellness in their lives.
